Taco Bell has announced it's new Drive Thru Diet. The idea is to NOT skip fast food or the drive thru but to make better choices. If you love fast food as much as most Americans than this is a pretty great diet for you! From now until the 28th (the end of the month so hurry!) Taco Bell is offering 1 FREE Fresco Taco to each person. All you have to do is go HERE and print the coupon for one FREE taco. Take your coupon down to your nearest Taco Bell and redeem it. This coupon is limited to one per person, you can print 2 coupons per computer so take the whole family (if you have enough coupons) and make it a lunch date!
We just had a couple birthdays in our house so I thought it might be a good time to bump this up. I've added a few new ones to the list, they are marked accordingly.
Birthdays are a great day to get free stuff and save a buck in The Buff. There are lots of companies that offer free stuff for you birthday and if you plan it right you can get all your entertainment and food for free on you birthday. Free stuff is usually limited to the person celebrating the birthday so if you plan on bringing a person with you or the family just know that you WILL have to spend some money.
A lot of the websites/companies that offer free items on your birthday will allow you to sign up your whole family with just 1 (your) account. It makes it so much easier!
*word to the wise - create a separate email account for free offers, you will get lots of emails from lots of companies after signing up for birthday clubs and free samples because they usually sell your information!
In response to your comments I thought I would post some things that are FREE after coupons to get you started. NOTE: All the coupons posted are Internet Printable (IP) coupons so you should all be able to get them. A word about IPs, you do not have to print them with color or on your 'best print' setting...a 'quick print' setting is fine. All IPs can be printed at least twice (with a very few exceptions) once you print the first time hit your back button and it will print it out again. Don't print until your printer is ready, if the computer even thinks you printed it, it won't let you print it again. Coping IPs is considered Coupon Fraud and is punnishable by law so DON'T DO IT.

Evercare Lint Rollers (travel size) are $.97 cents at Walmart. Use the $1/1 coupon from Coupons.com to get them FREE.
Wet Ones (travel size) are $.97 cents at Walmart. Use the $1/1 coupon from WetOnes.com.
Kraft BBQ Sauce is $.98 at Walmart and $.99 at Target (at least the one on Walden). Use the $1/1 coupon from Coupons.com. Last week it was 10/$10 at Tops so it might still be on sale there too, it's not in this weeks ad but that doesn't mean anything.
Hershey's Bliss chocolate individual candy bars are $.99 at Target. Use the $1/1 Target store coupon from HERE. You can find these up front at the check out lanes. (Target is THE BEST place to get super cheap snack stuff. They have store coupons and you can use a manufacture coupon along with their coupons. I've gotten so many snack items for ... drum roll please... 4 CENTS!!! +tax of course)
Kotex Pads (super small package 14ct-ish) are $1.00 at Walmart. Use the $1/1 from HERE for Internet Explorer or HERE for Firefox users.
Coppertone Sunscreen trial size are $.99 at Target and $.97 at Walmart (various types such as water babies or sport etc). Use $1/1 from HERE for IE and HERE for Firefox users.
**Dry Idea deodorant has been $2 at Target for several weeks now, I haven't checked it this week but it should still be $2 (or you can check at Walmart). Use the $2/1 coupon from Coupons.com.** Haven't checked the price yet this week.
Banana Boat sunscreen 2oz size (a little bigger than the 1oz trial size) is $1.97 at Walmart (up by the registers). Use the $2/1 coupon from BananaBoat.com.** I haven't verified the price yet, there are reports of $1.97 and $2.92, so it may or may not be free... yet.
**Dial trial size is $.99 at Walgreens. Use $1/1 from Coupons.com.
**Cottonelle 4 pack toilet paper is $1 at Walmart. Use $1/1 from Cottonelle.com all you have to do is create a simple pledge and follow the instructions. My pledge was so silly, "I will wipe my behind" any pledge will do.** I have yet to find this but it's reported to be in several Walmarts, I still have a few more Wally Worlds to check out though so I might find it.
**Bar S Hot Dogs (small package) on sale this week at Walmart for $.50. Buy 2 of them and use the $1.00 off 2 ($1/2) coupon found Coupons.com and Bar-S.com. Hit your back button to print it twice from both locations.** Haven't verified the price yet. There are reports of $.88 too, let's hope ours is $.50!
NO Coupon needed... Posture D Calcium is $8.99 at Walgreens this week. When you purchase it you will get $8.99 back on a coupon called Register Rewards. Colgate Total Advanced toothpaste is $2.99 at CVS this week. When you purchase it you will get $2 back in ECBs (Extra Care Bucks) for your next purchase (limit 1). Everyone seems to love Thomas the Tank Engine and his friends. Growing up my brother was all about Thomas. He watched all the shows, had all the VHS tapes (yup, no DVDs in the dark ages) and even had lots of Thomas paraphernalia. How about you, do you collect them or your child? Speaking of Toys R Us, I took my oldest daughter with me today and we were there during the Little Peoples Birthday Celebration. She got to play with all the LP toys, color an LP color page and got a gift bag with an LP DVD.
I'd say we had a pretty sucessfull day at TRS. Toys R Us is a great place to find things to do with all their special celebrations and demonstrations as well as pick up free stuff through their Birthday Club and other free offers.

There are more things than just dirt for free. Some of it is not free but dirt cheap! Here's what I've gotten just this week: (these are all things we will use, if it's the end of the year and we don't use them than we will donate them to a charity.)
Today I picked up 6 bars of Johnson and Johnson Buddies Soap for FREE at Target. They were $.97 and I had coupons for $1.00 off so they actually took an additional $.03 off my bill for the other items. You can find coupons located HEREon my favorite blog for couponing. In addition I picked up some Motts applesauce that was on sale for $1.69 a package (six individual containers), I had a Target coupon for $1.00 off and a manufactures coupon for an additional $.55 off. That made my out of pocket expense for them $.14 a piece! You can find the Target coupon HERE and the MC coupon HERE.
I also picked up some Sambucol at Walgreens for cheap ($2.99) and now I get another one free. How? It's normal price is $12.99 and in Walgreens EasySaver there is a coupon for $10 off. Inside the box of Sambucol is a $3.00 coupon off your next purchase. I've actually been trying this poduct out this week because I've had a minor cold and...IT WORKS AND I LOVE IT! I hope I can pick some more up before the 28th when the ES coupon expires.
Speaking of Walgreens, I've also gotten Pert Plus for Men for free (after rebate found HERE- but actually I had a $1 coupon from HERE, so it is a $1 money maker), Walgreens Extra Strength Headache Relief 20 tabs free after Easy Saver Rebate, Wal-Zyr 24 hr allergy relief 5 tabs free after Easy Saver Rebate. I've stopped into 3 different Walgreens now and everyone is out of the 1 Reach Toothbrush, 1 Reach Ultra Clean floss, 1 500ml Listerine sale items (what a shocker since they are free with this weeks Sunday paper coupon) but I was able to get some rain checks so I'll still get them free once they are back in stock. I'm also going to pick up their Energizer 4 pack of rechargable batteries that are on sale from $12.99 to $7.99 and there is an Easy Saver rebate for $5.00 back on up to 3 packages which makes them $2.99. We use these lots of our electronics and are always in need of them. We'll have to pick up an Energizer recharger too but I've got a $5.00 rebate on one of those and I saw one for $9.99 at Walgreens so it would be $4.99 in the end. I also got the Free Wrigley's gum with the coupon from this last week's Sunday paper.
At CVS I picked up 1 Dry Idea roll on deodorant for Free (actually $1.01 money maker from using the coupon found HERE), 1 Irish Spring body wash (also a $1.00 money maker from using the coupon from this last Sunday's ad) and finally Colgate Max White toothpaste.
That's it so far, I'd say that Sunday paper is definately worth the $2.00! I'll update this as the week goes on but if anyone is reading this than they can get these deals too.
After spending 2 and a half years getting to know this city and what it offers, I've decided to keep track of it. Sometimes it's hard getting to know a city and knowing what thrifty resources it has to offer, so this site is all about keeping track of Buffalo's resources, thrifty finds, coupon deals, what to do, and cheap entertainment.
